Oct 14: Continued caseload increase overall.

Daily Status, October 14 Reminder:  any sections that are unchanged since yesterday are grayed out.   Note:  The VDH computers were down all of yesterday morning, probably related to a Fiber cable being cut in Richmond (also impacted voter registration on the last day).  By the time access was restored, I was not in the right frame of mind of write the update.   Also, it is likely that these updates will become more sporadic because of other priorities. Virginia is on the NY/NJ Quarantine list again. Situational Awareness Since my last update, the VDH has reported he COVID-19 data reported by the Virginia Department of health on October 14, 2020 (based on data collected on October 13 h  by 5 PM) shows that the commonwealth added 2040 cases of COVID-19 (1235 on Tuesday, and 805 today) which, when averaged (1020) is less than one standard deviation above the three week average of 891 cases. I am now confident that the downward trend for September was either a fluke or is over.     View
